When you sign up, we collect your name and email address (via Google sign-in or an email magic link) to create and secure your account and to communicate with you.

1.2 Connected Platform Data
When you connect a social account such as Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok through their official APIs, we access the profile and metrics data those APIs provide — for example follower counts, engagement, views, and demographic summaries. We use this data to build your verified media kit and power features like rate estimates. We only access what you authorize, and you can disconnect a platform at any time.

1.3 Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

1.4 Content You Provide
We store the media kit details you create (such as your bio, rate card, projects, and images) and the proposals or messages you send through the platform.

1.5 Usage, Cookies, and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the Website is used. We use PostHog for product analytics and session replay (recordings of page interactions, with text inputs masked so we do not capture what you type) and Sentry for error monitoring. This helps us see where visitors come from, find where people get stuck, and fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and operate the service — including building your media kit, estimating rates, generating AI-assisted pitch drafts, processing payments, sending account and support communications, and improving the platform.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as needed to operate the service, including with trusted service providers such as Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Anthropic (AI pitch drafting), PostHog (product analytics and session replay), Sentry (error monitoring), and our hosting and database providers. When you choose to send a proposal to a brand, the information in that proposal — and, where you consent, your contact details — is shared with that brand so they can respond.

4. Third-Party Platforms

Data accessed from Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok is governed by those platforms' own terms and privacy policies in addition to this one. We use that data only to provide Kitly's features.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, which removes your associated personal data, subject to any retention we are legally required to maintain.

6. Children's Privacy

Kitly is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
